In the interest of keeping all the content i produce absolutley 100% free, i've decided to trial this new idea.

How it works is pretty simple...

All people who donate to my website will now get a tutorial made for them!

 
- But how will it work?

Everyone who donates to the Goliath Guitar Tutorials using the Paypal link to the left of any page on my website will recieve a free donated tutorial request.

The steps are simple

  1. Make A Donation (any amount)
  2. Email Your Tutorial Request To goliathguitar@gmail.com
  3. Wait For Your Tutorial

- The Details

The biggest donations will be made a priority so the more you donate the faster your tutorial will come. If nobody has donated and you make even a $1 donation then your request goes top of the list.

I will Email you back telling you that your donation and request have been recieved and how long the tutorial will likely be (please allow time for me to reply making allowances for my Day Job, Family and other commitments)

For whatever reason i feel i am unable to produce your requested tutorial I WILL OFFER A FULL REFUND

All donations are very gratefully recieved and you can donate as little or as much as you like.

The steps for generating a new tutorial are as follows (the time indicated assumes it is an easy song to learn and play)

  • I learn the song (1 hour or more)
  • Practice the song (2 hours or more)
  • Film the tutorial (1 hour or more per 8 minute video)
  • transfer files, create proxy files and edit the footage (1 hour per 8 minute video)
  • validate, render, upload and other administration (up to 1 hour work)
Please remember this when donating and requesting. Each single 8 minute video tutorial will take a minumum of around 6 hours work to produce. Longer fingerstyle songs may take 2-3 hours learning, 5 - 10 hours practice etc. etc. A large 5-10 part tutorial of a difficult song may take in excess of 20-30 hours work on my part. Your donation amount is obviously a large factor as to whether i agree to commit that much time to making a tutorial. In other words, Im not going to agree to finish Rylynn for $5! but if i have no other requests and you donate $20 I just might


Also - your donation is just that, it's a donation. It is in no way an advance payment on any services or product that i am selling - I sell no products or services. What i do is purely voluntary. Your donation will be considered payment in appreciaton of my past and current tutorials, not tutorials that i will make in future. Like i said, if i feel i wont be able to make your tutorial i will offer a full refund!

All donations will be re-invested into this project. Helping bring you more and better tutorials faster. I hope to invest in new recording equipment soon (i currently film everything on my smartphone)
